Delete your FriendsWithTools account

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

Option 1 — Delete from the app (recommended)

If you can still sign in, the fastest way to delete your account is from the app itself:

  1. Open the FriendsWithTools app on your phone or sign in at friendswithtools.io.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Open Advanced Account Options.
  4. Tap Request account deletion and confirm.

Our support team will process the request and email you when your account and data have been removed.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

Can’t sign in, or already uninstalled the app? Submit the form below and our support team will get in touch to verify ownership of the account before deleting it.

This will permanently remove: your profile, tools, photos, borrow history, messages, group memberships, friend connections, and any other data we store about you. This cannot be undone.

What we delete

  • Your account and sign-in credentials
  • Your profile (name, email, phone, avatar, settings)
  • Tools you’ve added, including all photos
  • Borrow requests, loans, and reservation history
  • Messages you’ve sent in the app
  • Group memberships and friend connections
  • Location data and neighborhood preferences
  • Notification history and device tokens

We may retain a small amount of information when required by law (for example, transaction records for tax or accounting purposes). See our Privacy Policy for details.
